Coach Sarkisian announced that Joshua Perkins and Willis Wilson have been reinstated to the Washington Husky football team and will be punished in-house rather than being kicked off the team completely. What lead to this change of direction? Apparently some of the players came forward with more information on the incident that happened and after talking with team captains, Coach Sark decided his original punishment was too severe and that both players are now happy and thankful to have a second chance.
Here is Coach Sark's statement on Perkins and Willis:
"We gathered some more information on the situation and it felt like the
right thing to do,'' Sarkisian said. "We met with some of the leaders
on the team, felt like the right thing to do. Their punishment will be
handled in-house and I think that they are thankful for the opportunity
to get back and I think that their teammates happy to have them back.''
